Who I love being!

Today's blog is about who I love being.
1. I love being one of Gods children. He guides me and protects me daily. God has blessed me with my family and friends.
3. I love being a pharmacist. I have worked as a pharmacist for 11 years. I love helping and educating patients every day.
4. I love being a wife, especially to Ted. He is my best friend. He is the best dad ever! He supports me and respects me. I love you!
5. I LOVE being a MOM and that is why I posted
the picture. This is my TRUE calling. This picture represents the best of life. My 3 children are my everything. Ash is my heart, Ted is my happiness, and Andy is my gift.
I look back at 11 years ago prior to having children. I was career oriented and wanted nothing but to work as a pharmacist full-time. Wow! how things change. I work 3 days a week and would love to stay at home and be a full-time MOM only. My dear husband supports my staying at home, however, at this point I am struggleing with leaving my career that I worked so hard for. As I end this post, I am reminded of two quotes:
"The phrase "working mother" is redundant."
-- Jane Sellman

A mother is she who can take the place of all others but
whose place no one else can take."
-- Cardinal Mermillod

Have a blessed day!

WOW!!!

WOW!

My dear husband called me today and said pack everyone and be ready to leave when I get home. We are taking an Amtrak to Disney World. We are leaving tonight at 9pm and sleeping on the train and will arrive at 9am. How exciting. My kids do not know yet. We love Disney World! We will fly back on Monday. We get to experience all aspects of transportation over the next couple of days.

Camp Willow Run

Today is the day that we rush to get the kids registered for Camp Willow Run.

Camp Willow Run is an interdenominational

Christian camp located on Lake Gaston in

northeastern North Carolina. The camp is

built on a unique railroad theme using actual

boxcars that have been converted into heated

and air-conditioned dormitories. An authentic 1911 steam engine and caboose complete the train. The three-fold purpose of Camp Willow Run is to win youth to Christ, help mature those who are already Christians and demonstrate that you can be a Christian and have fun. Every effort is made to ensure a safe, action-filled experience for each camper. The Christian lifestyle is demonstrated by a carefully selected staff and taught through Bible study, devotions, music, and times of personal interaction. Our program is available to rising 3rd grade through 12th grade students without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, limited disabilities, or religious preference.

Check out the camp at www.campwillowrun.org.

Happy Birthday Ashleigh

Today is Ashleigh's 10th birthday. I can't believe it has been 10 years since I was in the UNC hospitals waiting to see my little girl for the first time. We had lots of visitors that day from Teds dental school class. Lots of great friends and family. I dedicate this blog today to my girl. She is so much like her daddy, but I see me in her every day. I am so proud of all that she is. I love her with all my heart and soul. Thank you Lord for my blessings!
